I love both stream trout fishing and bass fishing. There are quite different fishing tackles and skill involved. Here is my experence,
When it comes to rod and lure selection, there are a few key differences between stream trout fishing and stream bass fishing.

Rod Selection:

For stream trout fishing, a lighter weight rod is typically used, typically in the range of 2-6 weight or L, UL power. This is because trout are smaller fish and are typically caught in smaller streams and rivers, where a lighter rod is more suitable for making delicate casts and presenting smaller lures or flies.

For stream bass fishing, a slightly heavier rod is usually required, typically in the range of 6-8 weight or M power. This is because bass are generally larger and more aggressive fish that require more power to land. A heavier rod is also necessary for casting larger lures and presenting them in deeper water.

Lure Selection:

For stream trout fishing, smaller lures and flies are typically used, such as dry flies, nymphs, and small spinners, small crankbait. These lures are designed to imitate the smaller insects and baitfish that trout feed on in streams and rivers.

For stream bass fishing, larger lures are generally used, such as crankbaits, jigs, and spinnerbaits. These lures are designed to imitate the larger baitfish that bass feed on in streams and rivers. Bass are also more likely to strike at lures that create more vibration and noise in the water, which is why these larger, more active lures are often more effective for bass fishing.

In summary, stream trout fishing requires a lighter weight rod and smaller lures, while stream bass fishing requires a heavier rod and larger, more active lures.

I was probably the most early user of GLASSFIN rod, I ordered it 2 years ago.
For me, the Glassfin rod is a very good small-middle trout rod on small creeks to medium rivers.
I also have a Anglo rod(luckily I got it at only 550 dollars, now the price doubled). In terms of performance , it's closed to anglo, just keep improving it from current baseline towards the best trout glass fishing rod. About comparison to another famous glass rod, the major craft major craft finetail glass rod, Glassfin in fact is quite different rod from Finetail glass rod which is more like a graphite rod although it's named as 'a glass rod'. So from a glass rod standpoint, Glassfin is much better than Fintail rod, on recovery, casting predictability, lure twitch, accuracy, hooksetting etc. Wish DANKUNG make new editions of GLASSFIN rod for larger trout, maybe a pure glass material can not do this, a blend of graphite and glass or boron material must be using ? I am not material expert, just share the ideas & advice.

My Z-Tao ULS casting arrived 5 days ago, after some yard testing with it I was very pleased. It has a very ajing-ish action. Now it has been my obsession for casting small lures.

Matched perfect with my alphas air tw and two other reels. I thought glassfiber rod was overhyped but damn i was wrong, it is really good at casting my 1.5gram jig and below. Pretty well distance. Side flick was a kind of enjoyment.

Very good fibegglass rod that casts from 0.8g. I love it. I caught two 32cm Perch pairing with my Curado BFS reel , casting a 3g Crappie Magnet.I tried many other fiberglass BFS rods, are all a bit noodly for some reason, but this one is not noodly at all!

I now use KastKing Zephyr combo, it's ok, but the sensitivity for small lure is not very good.
I am seeking a better rod.
I mostly use Crappie Magnet as the fish here is not very acitve, so my fishing is slow. the only thing that worked was drop shot with small baits. 3cm Crappie Magnet is an amazing lure for fishing the small perch. I never catch big ones as it's not allowed by local rule. , I sometimes use Crappie Magnets with a bullet shaped jig head(2.5 gram). Please recommend a rod of high sensitivity of my fishing scenario.

Went home to find two parcels had arrived, Dankung Slingshot and fishing rod. Frame is the Apollo I have been watching for long time. It has a little touch of Milbro Traditional Original Catapult Metal Frame.
Apollo came with one hinge probably for easy-custom-clearance reason.
Fine control and satisfying, slightly smaller than the image but with a well balanced feel. Quality products made by DANKUNG. Look no further!

I have abu roxon and shimano curado bfs, both are much more expensive. but now I use this clamber micro more.
The difference is the clamber micro is really aimed at ultralight fishing while both of reels above are appropriate for L to ML.
Thank Dankung for such awesome CDM reel.
