9.5mm and 12mm steel ball weight?

Regarding the tests you made, do you know the weight of the 9.5mm and 12mm steel balls you shot?

Band life?

Hi Mansell, I didn't think Coacktail bands would last less.
Do you have any idea how they compare to normal bands? Like, the last half the time? More? Less?
I am also curious to know where they tear. My normal bandsets tear were the tube contacts the slingshot, at the middle of the loop.
If you get the tools let me know your thought on the whole process (it looks tiresome).

Hi, BurgerMan,

Hi, BurgerMan,
I also got my tool with a coupon, but I don't know if that was just a limited offer, or if Dankung plans to keep sending them.
Best regards.

Hi, Domfitzy, thanks for the

Hi, Domfitzy, thanks for the comment!
If you use tube bandsets, I recommend the tool to you. I think this tool is worth that and more.
I would expect a better finish at a 5 USD price tag, but I would still pay the price.

Amazing!

Yes, I saw, that is amazing!
And you mentioned they are lighter to draw than normal 1842, so they are clearly lighter than normal 1745, too.
But I saw how to prepare them, and it looks like a lot of work, plus you need a special tool.
Have you prepared Cocktail bandsets?

Thank you!

Thanks for the test, Mansell, I am completely surprised at the results!
I always used Normal 1745 (with 10mm steel balls), and now I find that 2040 is just as good, with lighter draw weight (meaning less effort and better accuracy). I will need to take this into account next time I purchase tubes.
Thanks again for the tests.

I recently purchased a second Plastic (POM) X6 slingshot, as this is my preferred slingshot. There’s really not much to add to the review I did a few months ago, as the slingshot is basically the same.

However, this time I asked for a Black slingshot, and I noticed this version is slightly heavier (64gr instead of 55gr), and thicker than the Brown slingshot I already had. This does not add much bulk to the slingshot, but it looks sturdier.

As I mentioned before, I don't get any kind of warning signs at the slingshot being made of plastic, my Brown slingshot really feels sturdy. In any case, if you feel the need for a sturdier slingshot, go for the Black color option.

Thanks!

Great, that's what I meant: normal 1745 tubes. I never even tried Cocktail 1745, but I can understand them must be impossibly heavy.
However, I would find the 9.5mm steel ball test interesting, so please consider them (if that's all right with you).
Thanks!

Great review

Another great review, Mansell!
Are you planning on making more reviews? I would be interesting in the results with 1745 tubes, which are the ones I use.
Best regards, UE.
