This Stainless Steel X6 slingshot was my third slingshot from Dankung. I liked my Plastic (POM) X6 so much that I decided to get a Steel X6 too. Having both a Plastic and a Steel X6, I will try to point out the differences between the two of them.

I bought the Silver, Polished Stainless-Steel version, which is not shown in the website (only the Shining Edition, Golden Edition and Dark Edition are shown), and I think this is the most beautiful slingshot I have ever seen. I was also impressed by the package, including the band set, wrapping and sleeves, all in a high-quality plastic box.

The Steel X6 is an ergonomic ('S' shaped) slingshot, and it is very comfortable in the hand, even if at 193gr, you do feel its weight (the Plastic X6 weights 55gr). I haven’t wrapped the slingshot or put the sleeves in, as I find the slingshot comfortable (and more beautiful) as it is. The ‘pinky hole’ is big enough to attach a lanyard, but I don’t find that it is necessary to do so.

I can’t really tell whether the grip is more comfortable on the Plastic X6, or the Steel X6. The Plastic X6 has a much thicker handle, so you have more material to hold on to. The Steel X6 has a leaner handle that allows the middle finger and ring finger to wrap around the handle, securing the grip.

The grooves on the Steel X6 are placed a little to the center of the slingshot, not right up in the middle of the fork loop (as in the Plastic X6), and they do a marvelous job at keeping the tube in place (better than the Plastic X6). Grooves are definitely something to look for if you use tubular bands.

In conclusion, I find that the Steel X6 is a beautiful ornament, but also a comfortable slingshot to shoot. Being a high-quality slingshot, its price (while not cheap) is totally justified.

This Plastic (POM) X6 slingshot was my second slingshot from Dankung, and my first ergonomic ('S' shaped) slingshot. It is a very comfortable slingshot to hold, and it can be shot as it is, it doesn't need any type of wrapping to make the grip comfortable. At 55gr, it feels incredible light. You can throw it in any pocket and you won't feel it's weight.

The grooves surely help to keep the tube in place, though it did roll a few times. Grooves are definitely something to look for if you use tubular bands. I added a removable paracord lanyard, to avoid dropping the slingshot when shooting. Even if it is not strictly necessary.

I don't get any kind of warning signs at the slingshot being made of plastic. Its thickness has been increased compared to Stainless Steel slingshots, and it feels sturdy. I pushed the tip of the forks towards each other, and they bend slightly. However, as the forks are reinforced in a front-back direction (they are thicker when seen from the side), I can't see or feel any bend when shooting. The seams are visible at the sides, but they have been smoothed, not to damage the bands, and I really can’t feel them by touch.

I liked this Plastic X6 so much that after 1 or 2 weeks I decided to go for a Stainless Steel X6 slingshot too. I asked for a version that is not shown in this site (Silver, polished Stainless Steel), and they were able to get it for me. If you want to check it out, I will be reviewing it shortly, on the link for the X6 Shining Edition.

I really liked this slingshot, and I think its price is unbeatable.

My favorite slingshot as of yet! It is very well made and with it's thickness it can be used as a hunting slingshot if desired. With 1632 tubes it can be used as a vicious BB shooter. It's size is it's best feature because it can easily be carried in a pocket or concealed in your palm. A little paracord and tubes over the forks makes for a very secure grip. You won't be disappointed with this slingshot

I think it unprofessional to have expired. promotions listed in your website. Some of them expired over a year ago. It makes the website messy and difficult to navigate.
You need a new, clearer, less entangled site.
I like some of your products but not how you present them.
Thank you.
