I prepared an adapter to use tube bandsets (1745, double tubes) on this slinghshot. You can find the description and additional pictures on the forum.

This is a great slingshot, very comfortable. Basically, I agree with Northerner's (very complete) review.

I would add that with a weight of 130gr (including a light bandset), it feels great in the hand, not just the grip, but the weight too. It feels solid. It is very easy to aim due to the bandset (much thinner than tubes), and the fact that no wrist slip is needed.

The slingshot didn't bring any bandset, but I had included 0.65mm bands in the order. Coming from double 1745 tubes, the band feels very light. The order did include about 85cm of tube (seems to be 2040), perfect for securing the band in the slots. The slots had some burrs, but I removed them with a craft knife (so that they wouldn't reduce the lasting of the bandset).

Regarding the grip, I took a few pictures showing how to grip this slingshot for the forum (there was an old question about it). For me, this grip is the perfect combination between hammer grip (uncomfortable in the area between thumb and index finger with heavy bands), and the pinch grip (uncomfortable in the thumb and index finger with heavy bands).

I bought this rubber band a few months ago. I use it looped with my titanium antelope and I must say that I am very comfortable. I tried various measures for hunting, my draw lenght is 70/72 cm, because I use short pull style. With 12 cm active band from the pouch to the fork it is almost always lethal for pigeons, doves and turtledoves. Excellent against blackbirds, sparrows, magpies. I got the best results with 8mm steel balls, but for smaller targets I use 7 and 6.35 mm steel balls.
For target shooting and for training I recommend the 2040 or 1632 bands, but having finished them, I have made a longer elastic with this 1745: with active band of about 20 cm. It's not bad, but to train I recommend using a softer band.
Soon it's winter: the tubular band should not have the same problems as the flat band, the next review after the cold test.
Thanks again Dankung: always a guarantee!

I was quite surprised with this frame. I have a very long draw length and have found this piece to be a smooth shooter. Really good quality construction. This one will be in my back pocket when I'm out on my property. Very pleased

This frame is so great - when I was seperated from it - I imediately ordered another. Its has a great heft to it and feels fantastic in the had - easily handles magnum powered tubesets - but is just at home plinking BB's. As with all Dankung's products quality is fantastic.

To me the "lion mouth" catapult is probably best adapted to 8-10 mm steel ammo,it is fun to shoot in either "pinch-grip" or "fist grip" shooting style. The POM material means that it will not feel heavy in the pocket or hand, and the rubberized non-slip surface makes it ideal for those rainy days...I'll stick to sunshine and blue skies. Thank DANKUNG, another great product!

The Dankung "Toucan" of rosewood edition is clearly made of 304 (non-magnetic) stainess steel as stated by Dankung, I guess DANKUNG would add it into 100 year lifetime list except for the wooden material. It drew my attention because of its ergonomic design (pinch grip), rosewood grips, The low fork design to minimize wrist torsion, and its rapid flat band attachment system - and especially very effective fiber optic sights for target shooting.
