I have now fished 100+ days with my Glassfin. I own the violet rosewood UL model for context. This rod is my go-to beater rod and it is still in top condition. Even doing irresponsible things (which I do NOT recommend) such as lifting/flipping fish from high banks, fighting 10lb carp, etc. this rod is STILL like the day I got it. I wade fish and blue line alot, and I am able to flip cast 1.6g hair jigs under brush with no issues in tight spaces. I can also cast into eddies 50ft away with the right lure. Although the rod is rated up to 5g I believe, I can cast up to 7g no issues(megabass batafry). When a fish eats, the rod is very forgiving and will keep the fish pinned with its action and I fish with single hooks only for c&r. The right fish will bend this rod like an archway and are an absolute blast to fight. I love my Glassfin and it is always up there in my rotation with my Fishman Blancsierra and Megabass Huntsman and this costs a fraction of those rods. I highly recommend the Glassfin for those looking for a true fiberglass UL experience.
Bought this reel after seeing reel test YouTube video. So happy with the purchase. Throws light lures with no problems. It’s my go too. Beats the high end reels. Buy with confidence from dankung and shipping with the low cost duty makes this place the best.
I was looking for a DC reel for the fisesse fishing and this one does the job.
I tested it in a creek coupled with the Glassfin rod, casting Mepps Aglia spinners number 0, 1 and 2.
This reel cast like a breeze.
PROS
Lightweight
Fantastic brake, with little or no thumb
Little noise
Manage different lures flawlessly
High speed retrieve
CONS
Leds colors difficult to see in direct sun
Upper glossy frame easy to scratch
All in all this is a fantastic reel, it cast light lures with ease, precisely, with no birds nests.
The modern digital control brake system is a real game changer

Im in love with flat bands, because they are much lighter to pull, but im also in love with looped slingshot design (especially the butterfly in the picture) and there is a solution: those caps are life saver for who prefer flat band. Just check time by time the band is correctly stuck because it can slip a little bit after a bunch of shoots.
This slingshot its awesome, can't belive how accurate it is. Super lite, and i'm really comfortable with the grip. The band blocking system its also really smart and dosen't need any tools for fix the band, thats a big advantage. They send you the slingshot with 2 optic fiber sticks so you can choose of have the sight green or red, at the start i din't belive the sight was really useful, but after a little regulation it become ESSENTIAL!
I have been using this reel with ul jigs, 1gm. Casts surprisingly well. Only issue I had was too much play in the handle knobs. I had to add 0.1 mm shims to cure this. No other issues and a nice reel to use. It did cast enter with 2gm up lures. The breaking is very good and easy to adjust.
I can say it's a reel with many high-performance features, super versatile, and comfortable in the hand.
It feels lightweight but at the same time gives you the confidence that you have good equipment.
I now ordered the DK200 for saltwater because I liked the DK100 so much.
This reel is super smooth and strong at the same time.
It gives you incredible casting accuracy. I use it here in Puerto Rico for peacock bass and saltwater fishing.
I was able to work a small tarpon fairly easily.
The only thing I'd like to see in this type of reel is a little more drag power. Thanks to Dankung.com for the tremendous service.
