16*32 rubber tubing Specification: The rubber tubing is made from the top quality latex imported from Malaysia. It's specially made for slingshot with the new formula. The 16 means the inner diameter is 1.6 mm, the 32 means the overall diameter of the tubing is 3.2 mm.

Why use the small rubber tubing to make a slingshot?
Because we have tested and found that the small rubber tubing can be stretched longer and creates greater initial velocity than the rough rubber tubing, so the multiple-strand small rubber tubings as showed below can be stretched to about 6.2 times of its original length and has much better performance than a single big tubing.
16*32 is very popular among Western shooters. This is why we release two colors 16*32 tube. One is yellow, another is red. They have same performance. There is a small difference in practice is that the red 16*32 is often used to make the 'cocktail' bands with 17*45, 18*42 tube together.
