The Dankung Steel Howling Wolf is a small but mighty powerhouse slingshot, it fits the hand perfectly, the aiming dimps will help you get on target everytime, make sure you start off by way of using easy draw bands in order to get used to it first, it's also one beautiful looking and a well made slingshot just as all other Dankungs slingshots are, the price is very reasonable considering the solid stainless steel material and structure, you just cannot fault a Dankung slingshot!

I enjoy shooting PRECISE band with 3/8" steel balls.

My draw is 32". my band is a little tapered. The PREICES
band would likely need to be doubled up or cut wider for using 1/2" steel balls. The velocity is sort of decreased in cold days, but much better than other bands.

Arrived today with 1842 loops attached. It's super smooth; slippery even. So the first job was to wrap it in some black handle fabric and then take aim and shoot.

It's an amazing slingshot for a number of reasons. The weight feels reassuring in the hand; not too light and not too heavy, just solid.
The fit in the hand is perfect. I don't have to overstretch the thumb and forefinger to brace the forks and the bottom of the slingshot finishes at the base of my palm. It's larger than I anticipated but is probably more comfortable because of this as there is a little more to hold.
There is a gentle curve along the length that means you can keep a straighter wrist when shooting; it's very very subtle but helps to make shooting more comfortable (that word again).
The distance between the forks is great for shooting gangster style. For me the anchor point is natural and I don't feel the need to be thinking consciously about raising or lowering where I anchor the pouch which would suggest that the width of the forks is ideal for me. I have also tried shooting it in the upright position and found the reference point pretty fast but I think gangster style is more instinctive with this frame.
The 1842 looped tubes felt strong on this frame and were pretty zippy. You could easily use larger tubes but with that comes more draw weight and as a result you find yourself having to grip the slingshot harder which can leave your hand fatigued sooner than either using a smaller draw weight or a frame with more volume.
I intend to get some plugs to try some flat bands next.
It's easy to conceal in either your hand or pocket.
I think this will probably be my go to frame from now on for all the reasons above. The one thing to improve the use of it when you receive it is to wrap the handle.

I Use 7/16" for Practice target shooting. 0.75mm orange-yellow PRECISE band just propel that balls very well. No lack of power and range here in cold Winter.

plug converters to flat-bands are great for Dankung slingshots they let you use your favorite Dankung with bands and makes band changing as quick as tubes but to make your shoots as repeatable as possible try making area where bands attach to fork as thin as possible by folding flat-band into a tube shape

White PRECICE 0.65mm thickness band, tapered 12mm to 20mm. 8.5 mm steel balls. I'm sure I am on the correct path with my choice of flatband bands.

I shot 4-strand 3060 band, universal sniper from DANKUNG, with 11mm lead balls. Release just works great on my heavy tube bands.

Hello Boys & Girls, i remember i talk about because how light the Ti dancing Slingshot was if use heavy loop band setup "2040" i can feel the shock shock from the loop bands more than the more heavy Black Pocket thunder, so during the weekend i dig out my flatband converter plug a set of flatband and a set of 1632 loop band than lets lose some 8mm and 9.5mm steel ball @ 5m toward a A4 rabbit target, i know there are many miss and flyers as i am still a Noob but it is as i predicted by using flatband and 1632, the shock comming from the 0.65 flatband and 1632 loop are very very small, it dose feel very comfortable to shoot with all day long, as i do not have any pseudo-tapers 1632 or 2040 i would say still comfortable to shoot with, at the end i don't really care what bands set going to be put on i love my 10mm Ti rod slingshot because its made of Titanium, its Very Light and its Lasts Forever.

Hello Boys & Girls Once upon a time i was browning Dankung's website than i found a custom made slingshot link, so i got curious and click the link than i saw "Custom made slingshot with 10mm Ti Rod" i was like.."Wow...Woot Da Faq? 10mm Ti Rod..0_0" My Brain Exploded so i pm DK to find out if i was dreaming, it turn's out i was not dreaming but it would take up to two weeks to custom make a slingshot with 10mm Ti Rod coz after all 10mm Ti rod are not going to be easy to bend, after about 5 minute talk between my left and right brain i put down an order for a Custom make 10mm Ti rod "Normal" Dancing Slingshot, so after about a month wait "i am at New Zealand" so it dose take abit longer to show up at my door than other countrys, so i pick up the parcel..wait..woot on earth? why is it so light? feels like nothing in the box so i quickly get a knife and carefully cut the box open. Oops there it is my custom made 10mm Ti rod Dancing Slingshot.

It is Very Very light just to compare how light it is i use my first slingshot from DK wish is the "Black Pocket thunder hunting slingshot" and a Electronic Scale, Black Pocket thunder weight in @ 260g than Custom 10mm Ti Rod Slingshot weight in @ 150g...Wow...Ok time to shoot with it, they both got 2040 loop and the custom slingshot dose come with grooves so i do feel its more accurate than Black Pocket thunder, because it's so light i do feel the shock from the loop bands more than the more heavy Black Pocket thunder, so here comes 1632 loop..Wow..i can shoot with this set up all day long it would even be better with pseudo-tapers 1632 or 2040 at the end there are no Pro's or Con's between this two Slingshot from DK, both are Very Nicely Made and the Finish are Second to None..Enough typing i am heading back out with my Ti New Love..

I rotate the hand so the thumb is pointing down, rotating pouch and getting the shot close to a regular release. That improves my accuracy much. No doubt it's the best slingshot release aid.

Firstly, I must say that having been a customer for a number of years, I am extremely happy with Dankung. Their products are always high quality and they really bend over backwards to help.

I bought this catapult because I love its simplicity. It's very well crafted from 10mm (approx.) 304 stainless, so it'll take a fork hit fine. I think this is a great stainless steel for the job.

It's a small catapult, so ready to transport. The forks are more narrow to what I'm used to, so if I were to aim with this I'd need to adjust my anchor point.

A fine, fun catapult.

Supeiror flatband! I used to buying bands at ebay and local Walmart as well as Walamart. And sometimes at local Drug Store. DANKUNG PRECISE flatbands are much better.. They are born for slingshot

PREMIUM is at least 15% faster than other tube. I really like the look of its natural amber rather than black.
