This afternoon I had a visit at a local gold buyer's shop so I brought the DanKung Ergonomic OTT frame.  After all the gold was checked I had the employee check the metal composition on the Ergo-OTT.  One reading was taken on each fork so two sets of numbers are shown below.  As always, the readings on each fork were not identical but still correct.  The Olympus Gold Xpert Analyzer is quite expensive and accurately calibrated with certification.  The Ergo OTT frame appears to be 304 stainless steel.  The element percentages match a 304 alloy.  No zinc was detected so the frame is very strong and safe to shoot. Ergonomic OTT FrameFe = 71.88 & 72.88Cr = 19.56 & 18.36Ni = 7.89 & 8.00Mn = 0.67 & 0.24 Notes:  - above numbers are percentages- Fe = iron, Cr = chromium, Ni = nickel, MN = manganese

Happy shooting!! I am very glad and excited to receive the great-quality Slingshot bands; Sheshou 1.2mm several 2 meter rolls plus the gifts; bull's-eyes(4 pieces) and about 1m pouch-to-band tying ribbon. Guys let me tell you this:-Sheshou bands are NOT exercise resistance bands for physio therapy patients!! They for sure are made for slingshots. Why I say this1) They are very strong, slick and snappy. 2)They are very springy rubber, never-lazy; when you just unroll from the roll,  it flies on you like a snake,  never seen this before3) To launch 16mm steel balls,  I cut the bands 23cm long. Tapering 25mm at fork to 20mm at pouch(including 4cm for fork tie and 2cm for pouch tie, Active length is 17cm for my draw length of 90 CM). I have goneto try it today at the field. It was sunny after much rain this morning. After tying the my slingshot appeared childish because the bands seemed very narrow.  I saw some 2 duck swimming about 40 to 45 meters away.  I had with me also my theraband silver(from hygiene)  cut the same length but tapers 55mm at fork to 25mm at pouch but double bands at each fork. I wondered which one of the 2 slingshots to use on the ducks. I decided to use the She shoshou one with 16mm(childish looking one). I loaded and pulled hard thinking it will not reach them. Lo and behold, the steel ball went way above their heads and far in front of them and splashed the water with power.  I took the theraband silver slingshot and loaded and I tried to shoot at the same place. To my surprise it didn't go with as much power!  May be the weather affects theraband but does no affect Sheshou bands. I got goose bumps; are these narrow looking Sheshou bands going to replace threrabands silver. I very much think so. (In spite of the fact,  I killed so many small games with theraband silver and I was brought-up by it. Still very grateful to it).  I did not stop playing around with my new Sheshou Slingshot, I pulled hard on a mango tree trunk with 16 mm steel balls. The mark left on the trunk was disgustingly deep and kind of(more or less)  snapped my fingers! I said may be the taper is for 17mm ball not 16mm. I continued playing around with it.  I took a small hard plastic water bottles and keep it 30meter away as a target. I shot at it, I missed it narrowly with vigorous power.  I pulled on it the second time. Lo and behold; loud bang.  I got it and flew it away some distance in front. This time no more hand slaps. I kept banging the water bottle from various distances with Sheshou new bands till it was completely broken up. The draw weight is normal and flexible. Conclusion: Now I understand why Dankung says; their bands are specifically made for Slingshots/ Catapults.Longevity I have yet to complete my experiments.Last but not least, ( please don't laugh at me). I cut the bands with new double Olfa rotary blades. Never  knew they were two!!  I saw very very thin Sheshou strips between cuts of each band trying to clean every now and then. When I finished I opened the blade from the rotary cutter to clean the very thin strips and the Two blades separated and dropped on the self-healing mat. The blades had stuck with each other in their package.Still the Sheshou bands seem unaffected by this. Next time God willing I will cut them with only one blade. Thanks guys, Ahmed

My PIXIU is slightly larger than the Antelope but somewhat similar in design.  I enjoy both but prefer the Antelope.  My PIXIU measures 100mm x 125mm with a 205 gram weight (without bands).  The frame was dressed with black fork sleeves and a black handle wrap.  The fork elbows started poking through the rubber sleeves so I carefully cut tiny slits to expose the stylish protrusions. The frame looks unique with the metal elbows showing. Currently it's wearing full loop DanKung Premium 2040 tubes for shooting 3/8" steel ammo.

I am short draw shooter after reading another Sheshou user I cut a set myself with Sheshou 0.8mm@2817 + 11mm Steel BAll not as extreme as his Sheshou 0.8mm@3018 + 9mm lead..Sheshou 0.8mm@2817 shooting 11mm Steel Ball#1 236fps#2 231fps#3 236fps#4 234fps#5 235fps = Avg 234fpsi know band life will be short would be lucky if can get 50 shot but I like this tapper, 11mm steel with 234fps should be able to RIP Small Game no problems at all..

My first shooting session with the Generation 2 Precise Orange was not so good.  I had mistakenly assumed the .50mm thickness would make this a mild band that was comparable to the same thickness from other manuafcturers.  The first bandset tested was 20mm x 12mm and was quite stiff to draw. Speed with small ammo was nothing to brag about and the draw stacked badly at the end of my pull length.  I gave up on the Orange for a couple of weeks.Next, I decided to try a skinny cut with the Precise Orange and was pleasantly surprised.  The stretch improved, draw weight reduced, band life is good and performace with small ammo was impressive. Here are the details.13mm x 10mm x 180mm (810mm draw length)5/16" steel = 233fps ave7mm steel = 252 fps ave

special pouch for paintball
Comment:

I received your paintball pouches.
You made a very good job.
They shoot very quietly and the grip is fantastic . The two holes beside the middle hole is very good to flip out the balls of the pouch.
The very first shot over 12 m hit a golf ball exactly.
Thank you very much, best regards Gerhard

 'LiquideBullet' flatband
Comment:

I shoot paintball with Marksman slingshot. The rubber seem fantastic! Compared to the standard we have used(Marksman band) it was night and day:) Tubing and flatbands both have their good and bad traits. The flatbands seem to generate much more power compared to the force of the pull, but they do tend twist after the shoot and takes a bit of extra time to reset and reload. The tubing just seem to reset by itself but lack the power of the flatbands.

Dankung's 3060 for our 6mm Marksman slingshot frames was a very, very tight fit and really hard to get on, but works when you get them on. Unfortunately the 1842 and 2040 we bought most of was way too small for the 6mm Marksman frame and we can not use them at all:( now I need to order some new tubing and also material to make our own flatbands. I think i need to go up one size from the Black 3060 I bought to make them easier to get on the slingshots. 4070 maybe

I bought the black handle one. A very cool functional slingshot. Wider forks give more aiming area, I have fairly large hands with long fingers so for me a wide fork is more comfortable so I shoot better with it. I tried different gaps of Dankung slingshtos, ranging from 3.7cm, 4cm, 4.5cm, 5.0cm. This 5cm 'toucan' fit
my hand the best

I have bought about 72 pieces of this now. Quality has been excellent and all of the pouches are uniform. Much better than those knockoffs at aliexpress. It also does not stretch or deform after many uses. I use 9.5 steel balls in the most time, and occasionally 10mm. Both works well with this pouch. I reload the ammo fast without looking at it, the steelball just locates in the center of pouch each time.

I think I have now found my new favorite, Shoushou 1 mm thick flatband. Yesterday I was shooting 10 mm steel from 25 m and target was iron can, probabaly the firmest can I can find in market. Not CocaCola tin can, much thicker than it. The bands tapered is 20-15 mm. First hit to the left side of the can and it went through. Not happened before with 10 mm ammo. You know, bigger ammo is more difficult go through the target.

I always measure the gap before shoot a new slingshot. Now I prefer wide gaps and big-area forks. Im shooting almost exclusively sidways , I press my fingers on the forks, so I love Dankung's Toucan sereis as they have big-area at forks for my fingers to press on. that's really a big advantage over other slings. I am very accurate when the fork tips are only about 1 cm above my fingers. The wide gap (5 cm) helps the aiming.

Before I start, Id like to say that I'm a knife guy; I know a thing or two about fit and finish. This slingshot is really great when It comes to it. I bought this slingshot with my own money after trying a rosewood toucan a few years back.

Fit and Finish: 8/10

The handle on this slingshot is superb. The rosewood scales match nicely to the frame, and all the parts fit snugly together. There are only 2 reasons this didnt get a 10/10.

1: The handle protrudes slightly into the scales in spots leaving an ununiform look

2: the fibre optic sight doesnt quite fit the mounting bar properly. The hole is slightly large, by about a milimeter.

Ease of Use: 8/10

This slingshot assembles very easily with the included tools. All the parts fit tightly together, and I dont feel worried that they will come apart. I was very easily able to sight in the fibre optics to about 15m and it works as advertized. I hadnt picked up any of my slingshots in years and within 15 minutes, I was hitting a beer bottle from 20M out.
The band attachment method is a little bit finnicky to get set up, but once you do, it's extremely solid. Make sure when you're clamping in a band you hear a "click"

Value: 10/10

I honestly can't say much bad about this slingshot at this price. Is it the same quality as a fully custom slingshot? No. Does it need to be? No. Does it come close? Hell yeah it does. This slingshot would be a great buy at $50. At $25, its a steal.

I would HIGHLY reccomend buying this slingshot.

What came in the pack

The most ergonomic slingshot handle I ever used. The handle matches the frame very well, unlike two similar catapults I bought elsewhere which are warped at bottom of handle.
