It's solid and well built. And a milestone reel! .After using this, I genuinely believe that DC controlled reels represent the next step for the entire reel industry. It provides an incredible new experience. In general, the brake control is exceptional, allowing for not only up to 1000 precise brake adjustments but also numerous other useful controls for different casting techniques via APP. These include flick casting, precise position casting, and casting as hard as you can without experiencing backlash, among others. I have tried on some of them, the presise positon casting function is impressive.
Mine is the Gunmetal reel (Non-DC edition), and the shipping was incredibly fast, taking only 12 days. My first impression is that it's a well-crafted reel with a nice design. It's slightly smaller and appears to be more durable compared to the Tendershoot reel. Right out of the box, the reel effortlessly casts 1g, and it also performs very well when casting over 15 grams. The smoothness of its performance right out of the box is impressive.
A good choice for anyone wanting a cold bend traditional Chinese looped tubes slingshot. It felt a little small at first, but now I like it as is and wouldn’t want it larger. The grooves to align the tubes are extremely helpful. After a few months of shooting this frame I see no need for aiming grooves.
The bands that came with this slingshot were fairly short, making for a heavy draw weight. I prefer a lighter draw weight and am still trying different band sets to find which ones I most like to shoot with.
It has taken several fork hits while I have been trying out different band sets so I can confirm that it is definitely a 100 year slingshot.
I am a beginner so this slingshot has been a challenge learning to shoot. After a few fork hits I have gotten better, but beware of damaging the fork which can make it more difficult to use the top insert band attachment.
I find myself using this frame more as I get better at shooting - it has a small frame gap but fits the hand well and allows for larger bands, which is a good option to have.
I would recommend this frame to more experienced shooters.
Definitely a 100 year slingshot. It will outlast the shooter. Beautifully made solid metal frame.
This model of the Five rings luck Microdankung does not have rounded corners so it is tough on the hand. You will see many internet photos of this slingshot with a paracord wrap to give it a softer feel. I extended my paracord to give my pinky something to try and hold onto.
Adding a cork through the pinky hole to act as a palm swell finally gave me something that I could really hold onto.
I struggle with consistency when shooting this small frame, so I filed grooves into the frame for positive positioning of the bands on the frame. I do not recommend that you do this, but I would like to see the frame manufactured with grooves just like the Dankung Snail was given.
Was very surprised with the quality and casting performance of this reel, At this price its a steel so don't hesitate if you are on the fence about one.
The best BFS travel fishing rod! I primarily use it to cast lures between 1.5 and 5 grams, and it also performs very well when casting 7-gram metal jigs thanks to its strong backbone. The rod's tip quickly returns to its original position after casting. I plan to purchase another TKBLU PRO rod from the real wood series, this time opting for a custom dark wood design.
its moderate action glass enable a much easier time keeping a fish on the hook, especially in stream fast current and even more so with barbless hooks(I prefer single barbless hook, Barbless hooks minimize harm to the fish while still maintaining a strong hold). The rod sways and bends, yet it's robust enough to ensure the quarry remains on the hook.. I really enjoy it

To my knowledge, I may be the first person in Australia to have the pleasure of using this particular model. In terms of performance, it's been exceeding my expectations. On average, I'm able to cast lures that weigh less than 2g a considerable distance of 25 to 30 meters.
a good balance between power and accuracy! The band is made from high-quality materials that provide durability and resistance to wear and tear.

The ergonomics are fantastic. Definitely in my top three, probs second only to the X-6 shining in terms of accuracy, although I prefer A Happy Live Fox fork design, if the would make a mashup of the two I believe perfection would be achieved!
The size, shape, and ergonomics are amazing. I feared that they were overstated and I would be let down. I like the lack of grooves, I find the tubes settle quicker and more consistently than with my models with grooves. By far the top of my favorite 3 models, after this it’s a tie between the Happy live Fox and Orangutan! But the X6 is bob more accurate and as comfortable without being wrapped as the others are while wrapped. additionally the rise at the center of the fork is a surprisingly effective reference point for aiming!

I'm very happy with my Panther. I'm glad I purchased it. I am shooting both looped tube and flat bands from it and I have a lot of fun doing it.

I shoot 8mm steel balls, Premium 1842 just has incredible force and velocity and band life!
